Hello Colnago fans,
Recently acquired a wonderful 80s/90s Colnago Master frame/fork and I would like to identify the exact year if possible. It has modern parts.
Frame has a curved chrome fork (pre '88?), black lettering w/ chrome lugs, ITM stem with 'clubs', silver paint with blue criss/cross accents.
Frame has white 'clubs' atop the BB at the downtube and the club cut-out in the BB shell.
Any info as to the exact year would be great, I was told/sold that was an early 90s, but research tells me that it might be older due to the curved fork. I believe Colnogo inplemented stright blade forks in '88. Was there a choice for the buyer?
thanks- shanon

Shanon, any notion as to what kind of tubing was used to build the frame? Any remaining frame stickers?

thanks for the reply,
It has the three main tubes 'cripped/ribbed' Colnago/Columbus 'Gilco' tubes. Sticker is present but unreadable. All stickers present except for the Colnago signature (rear of top tube). All stickers in excellent shape except where it looks like someone had clamped the frame on the downtube instead of the seat post....DOH!
I found these reproduced stickers on Ebay, these are the exact graphics on my frame. Ebay #300149151568
I have frame pics available.
