The target weight of 25lbs appeared to be attainable if the manufacturers didn't lie excessively. Our friend and mechanic, Correy Thompson , spent the better part of a day building wheels and assembling the bike. In the end it was completed and came in at 24.8lbs. We have about 600 miles including a day in the moutians and three thursday rides with the local race team. The bike looks cool, is extreamly light, is as stiff as our Cannondale, has a great ride quality and is much quicker accelerating. The bike has exceeded our expectaions in every category! The olny problem is that our equipment is no longer the "limiting factor". There are no excuses except the tell tale fat ass. Post Extras
