doubleD new member Reged: 05/06/04 Posts: 13 Hand wrapped lugs       07/01/04 06:03 PM (207.244.100.3) Edit   Reply   Quote   My custom Tetra Tri requires a hand wrapped lug at the head tube. I'm trying to decide whether to go w/ a clear finish (or possibly translucent), but since the hand wrapped carbon would show (as opposed to the normal tight carbon weave), I may go w/ a solid paint. There is one photo posted that makes a hand wrapped lug look basically like a wrapped up ball of black tape, but it's not the best photo. Has anyone seen one of these hand wrapped joints done clear, nude or w/ translucent paint? The frame goes to the painter in a week! Thx. Post Extras
