Good ways to weigh?
      07/08/04 03:12 AM (68.192.78.228)

Okay, I'm stumped.

I've been trying to think of a good, accurate way to weigh my bike. After building my Dragonfly, I did the ol' "stand on a scale holding it" thing and got 16.5 lbs. No friggin way is it that heavy.

Then I picked up an el-cheapo fishing scale. It's reading 15.5ish. I have an electronic fishing scale (about $34.95 vs my current scale's 7.00) but don't know if it'll be any better.

If I can't think of anything soon, I'm driving to the airport and asking them if i can weigh it on the baggage scale. I need a good, calibrated device.

TIA
