I didn't buy my Calfee new so the post she came with is 25mm and uses a shim for proper fit. I would like to buy a larger post this time around and checked the site for the spec. I noticed it said the "27.2mm seatpost size is most common". I measured my current post + shim at just a tad under 27.2mm. The frame opening measures just above 26.8. I tried a cheap 27.2 post and found it pretty difficult to insert beyond about 80mm. So my question is - If you were in my position, would you go with a 27.2 or a 26.8? I thought I would post here and ask before I bothered the folks at Calfee. Post Extras
