It is lighter than a standard combo; basically it has all the advantages, and non of the disadvantages of a carbon bar setup. The only problem is that once it is setup, you can't change the angle of the bars or flip the stem. The deal breaker for me is I don't like the look of the alloy piece on the stem, where it wraps around the fork. Not so sexy. Oh, and it costs a bit more than a standard setup, but not a ton of money more.
