Calfee bikes are in no way made for thin riders. The earliest frames made by Craig were for racers which are powerful riders and we all know how they punish their equipment in races. Also I would say that carbon fiber bikes in now way or shape or form have a reputation for being fragile. For a big rider the bigger fear would be for wheels since many of the lighter wheel sets do have published weight limits on them.

I'm certain if you call Calfee Design you will get correct information on your options, including reassurance that a frame that may be stock would be plenty strong enough for your weight.
