davidlemon friend Reged: 09/21/06 Posts: 38 Loc: sacramento, ca derailleur clamp question       03/21/07 02:00 AM (75.215.1.141) Edit   Reply   Quote   i have a campy record ct front derailleur on a nude dragonfly. the clamp is the only silver component on the bike, and it sorta bugs me. it appears to be some generic silver clamp. i realize this is a bit trite, but does anyone know if i can use a black clamp? which type? perhaps a campy record clamp? i'm told by a leading mechanic (armstrong's 2000 tdf mechanic) that there is no other "idealistic" option. i'd like an alternate opinion, and appreciate your input.
