MSO new member Reged: 01/29/04 Posts: 18 Loc: Calif Luna vs Serotta Ottrott       09/02/07 09:43 PM (68.111.160.144) Edit   Reply   Quote   I own both a Luna and a Serotta Ottrott. I'm very light and my strength is in climbing, however, I like to pound with the hammerheads during our club rides. I'm being told that my feeling that the Ottrott doesn't have "snap" or what I call instantaneous acceleration (my old Seven Axiom did)is not possible. Recently I've been taking the Luna out and really enjoying the ride. The Luna seems lighter but actually weighs 1/2 lb more than the Serotta Ottott. Does this make sense? There both great bikes but I want a climbing machine and if I move my components from the Serotta over to the Luna I'll drop a lb. Is the Luna possibly a stiffer frame thus responds quicker or as I like to say accelerates quickly? Post Extras
