Bamboo mtb frames

Calfee has updated their website to include bamboo mtb frames,both 26 and 29.

I wonder if Calfee will offer carbon frames in mtb styles?Maybe the lugs present a problem.Maybe the bamboo frames use hemp wrapped joints..??
