I think you will be happy with a custom Tetra. I am 6'4+", 36" inseam, and am on a 63cm custom Tetra single (tri/steep geometry), and recently took delivery of a 64/52 custom Tetra tandem, which is way cool.
Lesson learned on the tandem, is that level of expertise of Calfee dealers is not always high. Granted a tandem is a bit of an oddity, but at the end of the day I would have been better off dealing with Calfee directly, rather than through the dealer. And in fact I think Calfee is maybe headed this way, preferring to deal with its customers directly.
So for you, I think the most important thing is to find someone who is REALLY good at fitting you, doesn't really matter if he/she deals with Calfee, if you get the key measurements to Calfee they will build you the right frame, then you can build it up yourself, have the person/shop that fit you build it up, or take it some place else.
