terry new member Reged: 12/18/03 Posts: 47 Loc: Southeastern MA campy hubs       02/20/04 08:41 PM (4.36.198.102) Edit   Reply   Quote   just some observations. i cleaned & repacked my hubs-spring is right around the corner-last night. i've got NR, C-record and record10 hubs. i found it interesting that the record10 rear hub had such small bearings. the NR & C-record bearings were at least twice the size. record10 is so simple, with caged bearings, to clean/repack & to adjust, but those high-flange C-record hubs have to be the most beautiful hubs campy ever made. even after 20K miles they're still smoother, i think, than the record10. lastly, my NR hubs have to have 60k mi. on them, the rear has probably seen 3-4 new rims, & i've replaced the bearings, cones, axle & inner races and the hubs still look beautiful. campy stuff is forever.
