I am buying a Somec Starlight that has 2003 Campy Record and Campy electron wheels. I rode a Seven with Campy Centaur components and it seemed to shift a little hard. Some might say deliberate maybe. It took a bit more effort than what I was used to(Shimano Ultegra. I have always wanted Campy and I just wanted to know what to expect. Now tthe wheels. I understand the Electron wheels are a bit older. The weight seems a bit high compared to other models. Is this a good set of wheels or is there any need to consider replacing them down the road?
