The father of the owner of Cycle Fantasy, the shop that paints the Kirks, had recently passed away and Cycle Fantasy is getting out of the paint business. However, in an e-mail to us Dave Kirk explained how Joe Bell, probably the pre-eminent bike painter in the country, is now the 'official' painter of Kirk bicycles. Wow! Now we will have a great bike with paint by JB! What more could we ask for? I can hardly wait to get my Kirk back. -------------------- Steel lover, but then I like Ti with carbon too.
