I have a 1998 Lemond Zurich that I ride during the winter training months. When spring comes, I ride my Calfee Tetra Pro. I actually really like the Lemond Zurich. It is comfortable and is very stable on descents. I have upgraded a lot of components on it over the years as parts have worn out. I've added a Hugi 240/Velocity Aerohead wheelset, Thompson post, King Headset, Ouzo Pro fork, Bontrager Stem, Cinelli Bar, Dura-Ace rear derailer.....It still ain't a lightweight at a bit under 20 lbs....
