Turns out my frame was probably made by sandvik in the early 90's. Chainstays are straight and round and the seat stays join to the outside of the seat tube - different from your frame's more normal seat stay join. Mine handles and fits me better than other stock bikes i've tried and I tend to think this is because of the type of geometry lemond liked. It'd be nice to know if that geometry stayed consistent through the different builders. Post Extras
