I am looking for a new road frame for 2004. Currently riding a Rivendell, and it is just too long (top tube and chainstays) for my liking. Looking for a "road race" style frame; I will race and train on this frame. I am trying to keep the frame purchase at or under $1200. I've been looking at Steelman (leftover 2003 frames), Rock Lobster, Cervelo Super Prodigy, Strong, Serotta Fierte steel, as well as Dean Ti (local to me in Boulder, CO).
I'm open to custom or stock, whatever fits (6' 2", 90 cm inseam, so looking at around a 58 or 59 cm top tube, maybe 59 or 60 seat tube, with maybe a 73 seat tube angle).
So, Strong owners, tell me about your frames!!!
