It was a sweet ride. Columbus SL steel. The paint still looks pretty good (as well as the chrome), but the decals are worn off. It is going to be a fixer-upper project in another year or two. I looked hard at Pinarello as I shopped for a new bike (my first in over 15 years), but the Merckx geometry just fit me better.
