If you worry about scratching the carbon fiber tubes during cleaning, the Elium and Odonata may not be the bike for you. If you race and worry about crashing, well... you get the point. 4 years in the streets in and around NYC, the Odonata has not once been an issue for me. This includes year round riding: rain, snow, potholes, sub zero temps etc. :-) Although it would be nice if carbon fiber had the durability of Ti... During my visit to the factory a few weeks ago, I saw several Eliums in various stages of build. All Ti from what I remember. Seems to be popular. That's all I can say. Post Extras
