The small threaded washer that comes on the stem of an innertube is the perfect spacer. Merely slip it on the screw between the cages and the frame and it will space things out evenly so that you aren't in danger of bending that water bottle cage around the DER clamp. Longer screws are necessary for sure. FYI don't forget to grease those screws! The maintenance down the road will be much easier of you do so and your threads will stay intact longer! -------------------- Post Extras
