The weather was perfect, mid 50's and bright and sunny, so went for a nice long ride to build up the appetite. Then went to close friends house for a wonderful dinner. In the middle of dinner our son calls, from Iraq. We hadn't heard from him in almost a month, so dinner was put on hold as we passed the phone around getting up to date with him. He's back at his base, done with one battle and getting geared up for another. Lots of tears around when he had to hang up, but dinner tasted particularly good that day.
