With every bike I've owned, I've spec'd a set of built-for-me (weight and riding style)wheels using standard hubs (Ultegra or D/A), spokes (14/15/14) and rims (Open Pro) knowing that if I have a problem I can limp home and have it fixed at virtually any decent LBS. Boutique wheels, like my American Classics, are pure vanity, image and should be rationalized as such. And expensive. -------------------- Steel lover, but then I like Ti with carbon too.
