I see both of your points and maybe that is the case. My issue is with the communication not the wait. I have other bikes to ride while I wait. My LBS was being told that everything was under control and that Reynolds had the fork and it would be shipped out the next day, then two weeks later nothing has happened.
I am not mad, just disapointed. Such a big deal is made about Calfee customer service when what I have experienced is about the same as any other frame maker I have dealt with. I thought it would be different, that is all.
I am still waiting because I did discuss changing forks with Steve and we came to the conclusion that with my frame size and weight, I needed to stick with my original choice.
