My recollection with Campys first generation 9 speed was that it was revised soon after their 10speed became available. So that will put the time frame for the first generations of 9 speed at around two years of manufacturer, before there was a revision to them. The easiest way to confirm the situation you are trying to do is to fit the part and see how the indexing lines up. -------------------- Its time to ride. Post Extras
