If you install a chain stay protector or Frame Saver tape on your panted frame, be very careful removing the tape. Use heat to loosen it first and pull at a very sharp angle rather than straight up. I pulled my chain stay protector off of my nearly new Tetra Pro and lost a significant amount of my Cabernet Red Translucent finish with the tape. Post Extras
