Re: Anyone tried the Easton EC90 SL or SLX fork?

Well, I've had the SLX on my Tetra Pro for a few weeks now. Gotta say this is one nice fork. I just finished the season's first century ride. Loved every minute of it. It is 160 grams lighter than the old fork. That dropped the total weight of the bike below 17 pounds. Not bad for a 64cm frame!

I can see more flex in the curved blades compared to the straight bladed, Calfee branded Alpha Q it replaced.

The bear trap didn't work for me. The stem (FSA OS 115) would always come loose. Instead of tightening the bolts beyond spec, I bought a compression plug. No problems since.
