I go about 180 lbs and have been happily riding a Strong Foco w/ an Ouzo Pro fork for almost six years. After about 23 years of road cycling, this will be my first non-steel frame, apart from a brief and unharmonious relationship with an aluminum Cannondale. I hope to be as nutty about my Calfee as just about every other owner seems to be.
By chance did you buy the 60CM frame that just sold on Ebay? Either way congratulations on the new frame.
I just bought an Alpha Q for my 60CM Calfee and am very happy with it. Alpha Q builds their forks to meet Calfee specifications. You can get an Ouzo Pro fork to Calfee specs but not off the shelf. Reynolds will have to build one for you.
There is a white paper on the Calfee website about their fork specs. Calfee wants to insure that the forks are true to eliminate speed wobble.
I have been told that the Ouzo Pro is a stiffer fork than the Alpha Q by some.
