I saw that and, it made me realize just what an innovator Craig is. While the high-zoot monoque frames on the market today are light and stiff and all this-that-and-the other, I still find a certain life or liveliness about the Calfees that seem to elude the carbon competitors. They seem to strike a nice balance of attributes that include the better characteristics of each material. And, they haven't lost that connection to the great tradition of steel bicycles.

I only wish those Bamboo bikes were a bit less money. For mainstreamers like myself, they are just too high in price. One thing that I have always respected about Craig is that he introduced to the marketplace a "Luna", a relatively inexpensive yet high quality carbon bike. It put the Calfee name in many homes that otherwise would have some other name hanging in the garage.

Wonder if Calfee would entertain the idea of a group buy?
