Your Litespeed Classic was around for a long time. I think your Classic is from the mid to late '90s. They switched to a 1 1/8" headtube early on. David Lynskey is the original founder of Litespeed and part of the family that owned Litespeed before it was sold to American Bicycle Group in 1999. He also designed the frames and most of the equipment to fabricated the frames.

The Lynskey family recently got back into the bike business making frames under their own name; Lynskey: http://lynskeyperformance.com/

Here is the website for the Classic in the 1998 Litespeed catalog: http://web.archive.org/web/19980530062937/www.litespeed.com/bikes/racing/classic1.html
History of Litespeed: http://www.litespeed.com/2006/history.aspx

Hope this is of help to you.
