Best way to hang a Lemond 1992 frame (Tetra Pro)
      08/18/08 08:59 AM (77.210.106.254)

Hi everybody,

I am the proud owner of a Lemond carbon frame ('92 model), which was manufactured by Calfee (is, in fact as you know, a Tetra Pro).

The case is that I'm going to hang the bike on the wall, and I'm just guessing what would be the best way to hang it...

The first option that came to me was to hang the bike horizontally (that is, using a 2-tube holder, hanging the bike from the top tube). This would be the best option because is like having the bike on the ground, but hanged.

The second option would be hanging it by its front wheel.

I believe the second option would be okay for sure (unless the wheel can be damaged), but I'm worried about the first option...would it be ok, to hang a Tetra Pro by the top tube? Can the top tube or the glued brake cable supports on the frame became damaged?

Moreover, can the frame gussets from the top tube became damaged as well?

Any help or suggestion (and also pictures about how you hanged your Tretra's) would be appreciated, and more than welcome!

Best regards,
Albert
